Thousands of protesters in Santiago gathered for a day of national mobilization to demand amnesty for all political prisoners and the resignation of President Sebastian Piñera. Carabinero riot police attacked the demonstrations with excessive force, but failed to properly disperse the protesters who were marching in multiple separate locations and methods, both on foot and on bike.

Hundreds of Chilean protesters in the northern city of Antofagasta marched to demand the resignation of President Sebastian Piñera and amnesty for political prisoners. Speeches were first given out at the 21 of May Plaza by mothers of political prisoners, before hundreds more gathered to begin the called-for disruption.
Anarchists in Valparaiso answered the call to national mobilization across Chile by marching against Piñera in the hundreds, clashing with Carabineros who deployed chemical weapons, including tear gas and chemically tainted water cannons. No arrests occurred, as demonstrators managed to outmaneuver the Carabineros on a ground-assault.
The city of Ancud in Chile barricaded most entry and exit roads as Chile entered its 4th week of quarantine, stating that the citizens of the town had a complete lack of basic resources to survive. Protesters state that quarantine would continue to be opposed until the town could be assured that enough supplies could come through to survive.

Thousands of protesters marched on the Presidential Palace through the Alameda, clashing with police who used chemical water cannons which caused scars and burns on several hundred demonstrators. Several dozen protesters were also injured by police, with a few possibly suffering concussions from being slammed against a wall by a water cannon.
