Hundreds of Chilean protesters marched in the city of Concepción, demanding the immediate release and amnesty of political prisoners of the 18th of October Uprising and the resignation of President Sebastian Piñera. Barricades were also placed at Barrio Modelo in the city, blocking access roads to the outside of the region.

Demonstrators took to the streets nearly a month after the police killing of Andrew Brown, an unarmed Black man in his driveway, who was shot by multiple officers using assault rifles. Police did not make a presence during the demonstration and allowed the march to disperse peacefully.
