Thousands of protesters across Chile returned to the streets of multiple cities in support of the political prisoners of the social war, including anarchists, Mapuche insurgents, and participants in the 2019 uprising. Police attacked the demonstrations, causing intense clashes in several locations.
Over 800 workers from the Chinese-backed mining company PT VDNI at Sultra in the southwest Indonesian province of Sulawesi went on strike demanding a fair wage and better working conditions. A number of buses and heavy vehicles were all burnt down. The PT Virtue Dragon Nickel Industry corporation both smelted and mined nickel, and other demands aside from a pay raise were a demand for 36+-month contracts.
Nigerian diaspora activists and their allies took to the streets across the world, from Russia to New Zealand. They demanded the end of arms sales to Nigeria, as well as the end of police brutality in the country as well. Thousands were in attendance in multiple areas, raising a big show that had never been seen before outside of Nigeria.
Dozens of Italians gathered at the Greek consulate in Milan in solidarity with Dimitris Koufontinas, a former member of the 17N revolutionary group on hunger strike for nearly a month to demand his transfer to the Korydallos prison in Athens, which would give him adequate medical care and access to visitors.
