A protest took place in New York, around City Hall in the intersection of Centre and Chambers. Organizers demanded justice for Jonathan Price, another black man killed by police in Wolfe City, Texas. About 10 protesters were arrested, and a police chief stated “It is what it is” several times after being asked whether the detainments were necessary. After the first wave of protests, Price’s killer was arrested. Credits to NYC Protest Updates 2020 for the footage.
