The nurses of the Albany Medical academic health sciences center went on strike after complaints of having to reuse N-95 masks and were locked out of the hospital after attempting to unionize. At 7:00 P.M., more nurses were locked out after they attempted to return for the night shift. The NY State Nurses’ Association stated that nurses only wanted a fair contract, and would continue demonstrations until this was done.

Demonstrators in Seattle gathered in protest of the sweep of Cal Anderson Park by police, attempting to stop the department from destroying the property of the unhoused. Police responded with brutality, causing several injuries and arresting a total of 21 people. Most of the belongings of the unhoused people of the park were seen thrown in dumpsters.
Thousands of students in Thessaloniki returned to the streets for a demonstration demanding the repeal of a law passed by the Greek Ministry of Education which would allow police to re-enter university campuses for the first extended period since the fall of the military dictatorship in 1973-1974 following a disastrous war and a student uprising.
