Albany Med Nurses Go on Strike for More Equipment and Pay

The nurses of the Albany Medical academic health sciences center went on strike after complaints of having to reuse N-95 masks and were locked out of the hospital after attempting to unionize. At 7:00 P.M., more nurses were locked out after they attempted to return for the night shift. The NY State Nurses’ Association stated that nurses only wanted a fair contract, and would continue demonstrations until this was done.
