In the days following the beginning of the Breonna Taylor Uprising, protesters occupied Kansas City Hall on the 1st of October, 2020, a Friday. They have engaged in clashes with the police, and the National Guard has been activated in response to the occupation taking place.

A protest took place in New York, around City Hall in the intersection of Centre and Chambers. Organizers demanded justice for Jonathan Price, another black man killed by police in Wolfe City, Texas. After the first wave of protests, Price's killer was arrested.
On the 5th of October, at around 1 A.M., another demonstration took place against police, albeit far smaller. Police violently assaulted protesters, and then left after realizing that the situation would not escalate without their presence.
