More than 1,000 protesters gathered in West Philadelphia for a protest, which, after clashes with police, quickly devolved into a riot, with teams of people looting Walmarts and the stores of other large corporations. Many cops were injured and were entirely pushed back from the city after the National Guard failed to arrive.

Dodgers fans and protesters in Los Angeles gathered together to riot after the victory of the Dodgers in the world series, clashing with riot police and burning several structures. A 7-11, a Foot Locker, and a semi truck were all looted as well.

More than 50 people protested the development of Hudson Yards in front of it, an extremely expensive and subsidized housing unit, which cost almost $6 billion in taxpayer dollars. The area was also gentrified, with many affluent tenants and shops moving out of the area after housing costs soared.
Protesters in New York clashed with police in solidarity with Philadelphia, vandalizing many police cars. Police appeared to be the main escalators of the night, breaking windows of cars that passed by, with some of them driving away straight into police lines.
