Thousands of protesters took to the streets of Bucaramanga for a 5th consecutive day as part of a continued general strike in Colombia, in opposition to police violence and the privatization of hospitals. Police attacked the demonstration as it passed downtown, which led to the incineration of several banks and police-affiliated buildings.
