Agricultural workers made the decision to renew the protest following the failure of Congress to reach an agreement to reform the sector and address concerns over insufficient pay.
Thousands of protesters returned to Ica in celebration of the removal of the Chlimper law, an anti-labor and deregulating law passed in October 2000.
