Workers at the striking Barros Luco hospital marched in front of the hospital, blocking the street, and announcing that work will not continue until they receive the bonus for COVID that each hospital and medical center has been promised. The Chilean state has been widely criticized for risking the lives of many COVID patients by not handing out the additional money required, which has led to many hospitals being undermanned and eventually causing them to go on strike.
