Dozens of protesters gathered in Salem, the capital of Oregon, to march against American fascism, including the presidency of Donald Trump, the Proud Boys, and many other far-right groups. One right-winger did come around and harass activists but was soon detained by police, in what many see as a new development.
Dozens of protesters took to the streets 19 days after the beginning of demonstrations demanding justice for Andrew Brown, an unarmed Black man killed by police in his driveway using assault rifles. Police kept a presence in the area, but did not attack the protest and allowed participants to peacefully disperse.
80 protesters in the Cretan city of Chania gathered to protest against the indefinite banning of demonstrations in Greece under the guise of coronavirus restrictions. In a statement, the Rosa Nera solidarity organization condemned the militarization of both the police and the army, with more police than doctors and F-16s whose cost could pay for 4000 ICU beds.
