Dozens of protesters in Antofagasta took to the streets after the police murder of a Chilean street artist in Panguipulli for the offense of failing to give his ID, burning barricades and shooting fireworks at police who arrived on the scene with armored cars and water cannon trucks.
Police attacked Abolish ICE demonstrators at the Bergen County facility who were protesting in solidarity with the prisoners inside performing a hunger strike. Cops were filmed targeting a black protester, then arresting him. The Ridgewood for Black Liberation organization later stated that he had been released, but sustained injuries during the assault by police.
