Protesters in Antofagasta took to the streets demanding the resignation of President Piñera and the government representation in the constitutional delegation not to have any party members. Hundreds took part in the protest as a part of the growing movement for the end of politicians and party politics in Chile.
More than 1,000 protesters gathered in West Philadelphia for a protest, which, after clashes with police, quickly devolved into a riot, with teams of people looting Walmarts and the stores of other large corporations. Police brutally cracked down on the demonstration, sending dozens of officers, water cannons, and tanks against the crowd.
