Albanian Police Crack Down on Protesters in Tirana

Protesters returned to the streets of Tirana for a 3rd night after Albanian police murdered 25-year-old Klodian Rasha. Demonstrators chanted “Justice for Klodian, resign Klodiani!” while marching down the streets of the capital, breaking windows and taking down street signs.

Police began to crack down on protesters with water cannons and rubber bullets after firecrackers were seen in use. Pepper spray and tear gas were also seen in use against smaller groups.
