Protesters in Israel took to the streets across the country 170,000-strong for an 18th week in a row against Netanyahu and his corrupt record. Demonstrations were sparked due to the brutality of Israeli security forces in Palestine and the massacres against protesters that demonstrate, such as Gaza in 2019, in which over 50 people were killed.

Around 100 protesters gathered at the Ministry of Macedonia – Thrace in Thessaloniki during a nationwide hospital workers’ strike in Greece, demanding more money for containing the COVID pandemic instead of emptying the budget into police repression and militarization. Demonstrators hung banners and sang chants, then dispersing to join the student demonstration taking place that day.
Thousands of students gathered in Thessaloniki and marched against a new law which would restore police to university campuses across Greece for the first time since the fall of the military dictatorship. Clashes ensued after police deployed tear gas on protesters, with Molotov cocktails flying through the air and firebombs used against law enforcement. After finishing the march in spite of chemical weapons being used on protesters, the students returned for an afternoon march against state repression.
Protests occurred in Philadelphia in advance of a rally that Trump will be holding to re-elect him as President of the United States, with about 300-500 protesters gathering to demonstrate against the rally occurring. The rally took place to address his plans to end police brutality in front of undecided voters.
