75 abolitionists in Richmond gathered at the Justice Center in solidarity with those caged inside, honking car horns and banging pots and pans. Police attempted to stop the demo by giving drivers citations, but demonstrators simply walked out of their cars and kept going all the way through New Year’s.

Workers from the CMR Falabella bank in Arica went on strike, joining the Paro Nacional currently ongoing in Chile.
