Thousands of farmers continued to gather at Ica, burning barricades in the Panamerican highway and effectively shutting down most travel in Peru. The cities of Parcona, San José de Los Molinos District, Santiago, Tate, and Pachacútec all had their access roads blocked, and Lima remained shut off from the rest of the country.

Dozens of Turkish anarchists gathered in Kadıköy to protest on the anniversary of the 19 December massacre, better known as Operation “Return to Life”. The protesters were attacked by Turkish police, with 10 arrests made. Prisoners were protesting the government plan to transfer prisoners to American-style “F-type” cells holding 1-3 occupants, in response to which 10,000 soldiers violently occupied 48 prisons to end 2 months of hunger strikes by hundreds of political prisoners. At least 31 prisoners were murdered by the Turkish government, 8 others were disappeared, and 426 prisoners were wounded. 1005 prisoners were then caged in the F-type cells.
Protesters took to the streets for the weekly Stonewall Black Trans Lives Matter march, which attracted hundreds in attendance. Police followed the demonstrators, but no major clashes occurred throughout the night, with the march ending peacefully.
Around 200 protesters gathered at Georgiou Square in the Greek city of Patras, demanding the end of a law proposed by the ruling right-wing Nea Dimokratia (New Democracy) party, which would reintroduce police to university campuses for the first time since 1975 and set limits on the number of years a student can spend on their degree.
Dozens of protesters took to the streets for a 15th day of demonstrations in Elizabeth City to demand justice for Andrew Brown, an unarmed Black man killed by police officers with assault rifles. Police closely trailed the small demonstration, but no arrests occurred due to a lack of confrontations.
