Protesters in Antofagasta returned to the streets on the birthday of Piñera, the widely hated President of Chile, demanding his immediate resignation. The march went through Bonilla in the city, with heavy police repression almost immediately occurring.
Protesters then returned in the hundreds for the night march, which was not attacked by police.
Anarchists in the western Greek city of Agrinio (Agrinio-Acarnania Municipality) dropped a banner in solidarity with the imprisoned comrade Errol, a French anarchist deported from Greece on many set-up charges by the government, including terrorism and participation in outlawed groups.
Strong clashes occurred in the town of Cañete during a demonstration in support of Mapuche political prisoner Oscar Pilquiman, an indigenous activist framed for a robbery in 2019. Police attacked the crowd with water cannons and tear gas, while protesters returned the favor with Molotov cocktails.
Dozens of activists gathered at the home of Presiding Judge Dale Youngs of the 16th Circuit Court in Kansas City, following an incident in which one of his agents shot a man having a mental health crisis while being evicted. Organizers called for an immediate moratorium to be placed on eviction, so that no one more would die from being evicted or from not having shelter.
Anarchists in Montevideo, Uruguay, launched an attack against a police station with Molotov cocktails, starting a fire that permanently damaged the front of the police center.
