Over 150 protesters marched in Ioannina in solidarity with the Koufontinas hunger strike, moving through the center of the city with a steady pulse of chants and in the almost complete absence of a police presence.

Around 50 anarchists gathered in Thessaloniki to demand the acceptance of requests of N17 hunger striker Dimitris Koufontinas, who entered a hunger strike on 8 January to be moved to the Korydallos prison in Athens. November 17 was a revolutionary socialist organization in 20th-century Greece that carried out attacks on American, British, and military targets, before being disbanded in early 2000.
Dozens of protesters marched in Kenosha the night before it was decided whether or not Jacob Blake’s shooters would be charged or not, in a protest led by the man’s father. Demonstrators demanded charges to honor Blake, who had been left permanently paralyzed after the shooting that caused mass riots and looting in the Wisconsin city.
Around 150 protesters took to the streets of Portland’s Pearl District to demand the abolition of Immigration & Customs Enforcement, a widely hated agency in the United States due to its job of carrying out deportations. The local USCIS office was covered in graffiti, and a police car was smashed in before law enforcement arrived on the scene, arresting 2 people and attacking a journalist.
Protesters in Mbabane took to the streets in opposition to the government of Eswatini, the last absolute monarchy of Africa, demanding the implementation of democracy and justice for Thabani Nkomonye, a student murdered by police. Demonstrators lit fires and blocked roads, shutting down key roads in order to cause as much disruption as possible.
