Hundreds of protesters gathered in the northern Greek city of Thessaloniki to oppose a bill proposed by the right-wing New Democracy government, which would reintroduce police to university campuses and set a limit on the years a student can take to finish their degree. Police kettled the crowd, assaulting them and arresting 3 demonstrators before allowing them to march without any more issues.
Over 100,000 Haitian protesters covered the streets of Port-au-Prince in a mass demonstration against the regime of dictatorial American-backed leader Jovenel Moise, widely despised by the public for his autocratic rule and dissolution of Parliament in 2019. Despite clashes occurring in some neighborhoods, the majority of protesters were exempt from police violence.
The Revolution Now protests continue through the 13th amid increased calls for police defunding/reform and the killings of a dozen protesters over the last days. Many protesters have been met with brutality, but none more have been killed since the 12th of October.
