About 50 protesters gathered in downtown Jacksonville, protesting against Governor Ron Desantis’ ‘anti-mob’ law, which allows people to shoot protesters that are looting, and allows the running over of demonstrators if they are blocking a road. The parents of Devon Gregory were present, with a smaller protest for their child also happening in Miami.

Demonstrators held letters spelling “TRUMP IS GUILTY”, demanding his resignation; police then attacked the protest, making several arrests against the completely peaceful crowd in a seemingly harsher crackdown than against the insurrectionaries at the Capitol.
