Police in Athens attacked over 100 protesters at the Omonia Metro protesting in solidarity with the Dimitris Koufontinas hunger strike, using batons indiscriminately and forcing them back into the metro that most of them used to flee the scene. Demonstrators promptly regrouped at the Syggrou intersection, setting fires and clashing with police.
Hundreds of protesters in Santiago gathered for a demonstration demanding the release of the political prisoners of Chile's social uprising that began in 2019, some of which have been detained for over a year. Police responded with extreme repression, arriving in the dozens with tear gas and armored vehicles, attacking street medics, and making several brutal arrests.

Hundreds of protesters in Terrassa gathered to demand the release of Pablo Hasel, a left-wing Catalan rapper arrested for insulting the monarchy, and everyone arrested during demonstrations in his support. Police attacked the gathering, kettling the crowd and making several brutal arrests.
Over 150 protesters marched in Ioannina in solidarity with the Koufontinas hunger strike, moving through the center of the city with a steady pulse of chants and in the almost complete absence of a police presence.
Over 150 protesters in the town of Volos marched in solidarity with the hunger strike of Dimitris Koufontinas, moving through the heart of the city and throwing paint at the office of a New Democracy MP, Christos Boukoros, before finishing the demonstration and dispersing for the night.
