Hundreds of protesters returned to the streets of Manizales, demanding the end of healthcare privatization and police violence amid a general strike in Colombia. Police brutally attacked the demonstration, including tear-gassing the inside of a nearby bus fully occupied by passengers.
Hundreds of protesters gathered for a march in Elizabeth City demanding justice for Andrew Brown, an unarmed Black man killed by police with assault rifles, a day before his body would be put to rest. Groups from all over the region made a presence, with the march being one of the largest so far.

Dozens of protesters in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas gathered to demonstrate against Trump’s visit to the border wall, pointing out that the cost it takes to build 1 mile of wall could pay for 300,000 coronavirus vaccines. Abolish ICE organizers demanded the destruction of the wall, under the slogan #NotAnotherFoot, and made it clear that the community of the Rio Grande Valley was in opposition to its existence.
Hundreds of socialists & anarchists gathered in the Catalan city of Reus to protest against a rally organized by the far-right Vox party, with several confrontations occurring and riot police arriving on the scene. Although counterprotesters were physically blocked from chasing down the fascists, they were successfully forced to disperse.
