Hundreds of protesters gathered in the Susa valley of Turin to demand the end of the construction of the Turin-Lyon High-Speed Railway, which would cause extreme deforestation and disruption of the local environment. Demonstrators clashed with police, which resulted in 1 police injury and tear gas deployed.

Protesters in Hackensack, New Jersey returned to the Bergen County Jail for a daily noise demo in solidarity with undocumented immigrants caged inside, who have been detained by authorities for months and only recently halted a hunger strike.
