Health workers in San Bernardo, a commune in Greater Santiago, went on strike to demand greater funds to contain the COVID-19 pandemic. They went on strike on the 2nd day of a general strike called for by major health unions, demanding that the government fulfill its promises to increase funding for the health sector.
