Residents of Viña Del Mar took to the streets to demand greater funds for medical workers to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as more protocols and a larger overall budget for the health sector. Over 500 people were in attendance, and other protests also occurred throughout the country.

Anarchists in London engaged in a banner drop in solidarity with the University of Manchester rent strike, calling for the same to spread all over the United Kingdom. The banner drop was organized by Full Stop Affinity, a local anarchist group demanding healthcare, food, and housing for all.
Greek anarchists dropped a banner at a supermarket in Patras, promoting feminist initiatives during the pandemic, saying “The fight against gender inequality cannot be put under quarantine. Lockdown the patriarchy, power, and capital!”.
Thousands of protesters took to the streets of Pereira for a 4th day of demonstrations in Colombia in opposition to tax hikes on basic goods and services as well as the privatization of healthcare. Police attacked the largely peaceful demonstration, resulting in clashes that occurred throughout the night in the city’s commercial center.
