The Day 9 Los Angeles Block Garcetti protest was generally uneventful, with organizers giving out speeches to about 90 in attendance and calling on protesters to use social media to condemn Garcetti’s possibility of becoming a cabinet member under the Joe Biden administration. Many however noted the 2 dozen or so police cars that were in the vicinity of the protest despite nothing occurring.

Hundreds of protesters in the Minneapolis suburb of Brooklyn Center took to the streets for a 2nd day to demand justice for 20-year-old Daunte Wright, an unarmed black man murdered by officer Katie Potter on the 11th of April. Police and the national guard attacked the demonstration, shooting tear gas and rubber bullets at the crowd.
