Protesters Gather in Washington D.C. for Freedom of Assange

Dozens of protesters gathered in front of the British embassy in Washington D.C. to demand the halting of the extradition of Julian Assange, founder of Wikileaks, to the United States.

Activists condemned “leftist” politicians who refused to support the pardoning of Assange, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez among others.

Organizers also attacked the new brand of socialism in the United States that still backs imperialism, regime change, and American overreach worldwide.
