Protesters in Portland took to the streets demanding the reopening of the case of Patrick Kimmons, who was fatally shot by police in 2018. It also served as a Back the Black (reference to black bloc) counterprotest in response to the Back the Blue rally in downtown Portland. Clashes also occurred between the Proud Boys, Patriot Prayer, and protesters.
The Proud Boys clashed with protesters in their car, followed up by a Patriot Prayer member performing a drive-by macing on Back the Black protesters.
