Protesters in Washington D.C. set a fire and burned an American flag in honor of Karon Hylton before police reinforcements arrived to the precinct and began attacking demonstrators. Bike cops were seen used kettling methods, and were widely criticized for excessive force when arresting protesters.

Dozens of protesters in Encarnación gathered to demand the resignation of President Marito Abdo, widely held responsible for corruption resulting in the disappearance of $1.6 billion from Paraguay’s healthcare budget, causing a collapse in infrastructure as hospitals were overwhelmed and forced to cut back on resources.
Protesters took to the streets across Chile, with hundreds of thousands gathering in Plaza Dignidad and other squares. Millions celebrated the replacement of the constitution that was created by the Pinochet regime in a historic plebiscite, which gained 78% of the vote in approval of a new constitution for the Chilean people. Many clashes with the police occurred, but no arrests did.
Hundreds of cyclists biked down and blocked the Alameda in protest of the Chilean Ministry of Transportation’s incompetence in solving cases of murdered cyclists, also demanding the release of all political prisoners of the 18th of October Uprising.
