4000 police officers arrived in Guérnica on the 29th to evict 1400 families living there that had not been able to pay their rent amid the pandemic, with protests going on nearby and the population resisting. Hundreds of protesters in Terrassa gathered to demand the release of Pablo Hasel, a left-wing Catalan rapper arrested for insulting the monarchy, and everyone arrested during demonstrations in his support. Police attacked the gathering, kettling the crowd and making several brutal arrests.
