Thousands of Greek workers went on strike across Athens to demand paid overtime and better leave, as well as more pay for those in the public sector. Police moved in but did not make any arrests, instead kettling the crowd and forcing them through side roads. A coalition of groups organized the walk-off, including several anarchist organizations and PAME, a Marxist group infamous for breaking the 2014 general strike.
