Hundreds of antifascists marched on a “Stop The Steal” rally in Sacramento, California, with many Proud Boys present, which had an attendance of around 30. The Antifascist side had at least 200 and stood off with the MAGA side which was protected by police, who chanted insults at the counterprotesters.
Antifascists shot a rocket and other projectiles at the Trump supporters, with the organizers of the pro-Trump rally strangely calling the police that they supported ‘pig scum’ for not arresting the antifascists.
Sacramento police then shot at protesters point-blank with what were later identified as foam bullets.
A Proud Boy confronted a few people in bloc, then realized how big the group was and backed off, later running away and macing people. When he was tackled, he dropped a huge knife.
Protesters then moved out of the capitol in a shield march, ending the event.
