Peruvian farmers and industrial workers clashed with police at the last standing blockade in Panamericana Sur, at Ica Province. Many blockaders were hit with rubber bullets and crowds with tear gas, fighting back by throwing stones and injuring several soldiers and police officers. After reinforcements arrived to aid the outnumbered government forces, however, the last blockade would fall, with organizers vowing to return on the 29th.

Police attacked demonstrators, who gathered at a variety of sites across the city, using tear gas, tanks, and live rounds to attempt to suppress the protests.
