Hundreds of protesters in Santiago gathered for a peaceful demonstration at the Alameda, and were attacked by Carabinero riot police with water cannons and pepper spray. Members of the press as well as street medic brigades were also assaulted by the Carabineros, with many as well hit by the water cannons tainted with chemicals that cause burns.

Anarchists in Keratea, a Greek city southeast of Athens on the Attican peninsula, dropped a banner in solidarity with migrants in the country. The banner reads, "Immigrants are an image of our own future. No to the concentration camps [in which refugees are kept]!"

Dozens of protesters gathered at the Canadian capital of Ottowa to protest against the Ethiopian & Eritrean war and genocide of the separatist Tigray people, with over 55,000 refugees in the conflict. Demonstrators called on the UN to quickly halt the war, before any further massacres of the Tigrinya people occurred.
