Thousands of protesters in Athens returned to the streets for a second consecutive day in solidarity with the Koufontinas hunger strike. Demonstrators first routed police out of Syntagma Square, then gathering in front of Parliament and marching down to Omonia Square before dispersing for the night.

Hundreds of protesters took to the streets across Lebanon against corruption and oligarchy in the country, grappled by a massive economic crisis after the 2020 explosion of a plant which resulted in a nationwide movement being formed against the government. Protesters lit barricades and blocked roads, causing as much disruption as possible.
Around 600 protesters marched in solidarity with the Koufontinas hunger strike in Thessaloniki, arriving at the US consulate in honor of the hunger striker's affiliation to the 17 November left-wing urban guerilla that frequently attacked Anglo-American targets.
Dozens of protesters in the city of Leipzig in Germany took to the streets in a flash demonstration in solidarity with the Koufontinas hunger strike, breaking windows and tagging graffiti at the Connewitz police station and dispersing without detection.
