Washington D.C. Protests Against Trump

Protesters in Washington D.C. took to the streets against President Trump, demanding that every vote be counted. About 100 demonstrators turned out for the rally and later march for democracy, which condemned Trump’s lawsuits to disenfranchise mail-in ballots. The MPD stopped the march, seizing the large Trump balloon, but otherwise did not confront the protest.

The demonstration was organized by the Metro DC DSA, Shut Down DC, Sunrise Movement DC, Black Lives Matter DC, and other DC-based organizations dedicated to curbing the demise of democracy and human rights in the United States.
