Thousands of protesters turned out in Valparaiso to march to the National Congress building in the city to demand the resignation of Piñera. Demonstrators clashed with Carabineros near the site, but resisted and continued the march for resignation and a COVID bonus for hospitals.
With an estimated 2000 people marching on Valparaiso, the Carabineros deployed ground units and water cannons on the marchers with riot vans.
