Protesters in Portland met at Revolution Hall on what would have been George Floyd’s 47th birthday to commemorate his life and the movement that formed after him. Demonstrators gave Floyd’s cousin balloons, which they promptly released into the air while chanting ‘George Floyd’.

Thousands of protesters took to the streets of Bogota for a 5th consecutive day of demonstrations against the privatization of healthcare and police violence in Colombia. Police attacked demonstrators, who gathered at a variety of sites across the city, using tear gas, tanks, and live rounds to attempt to suppress the protests.
Dozens of protesters in the La Pincoya neighborhood of Santiago returned to the streets against the neoliberal police state of Chile after brutal repression in a previous round of demonstrations. Police returned with water cannons and tear gas, gassing the residential neighborhood and its public spaces including a playground.
Protesters in New York clashed with police in solidarity with Philadelphia, vandalizing many police cars. Police appeared to be the main escalators of the night, breaking windows of cars that passed by, with some of them driving away straight into police lines.
Over 200 protesters marched across Seattle on the 6th of November, demanding the defunding of the Seattle Police Department and the abolition of ICE. The protest included testimonies from many black and Hispanic organizers, and lasted nearly 3 hours. No clashes occurred with police, as there were other demonstrations also occurring in the area.
