Protesters in Portland met at Revolution Hall on what would have been George Floyd’s 47th birthday to commemorate his life and the movement that formed after him. Demonstrators gave Floyd’s cousin balloons, which they promptly released into the air while chanting ‘George Floyd’.
Thousands of protesters converged on Paris for the 4th week of demonstrations against the Global Security Law forbidding the filming of police. The state response was heavy-handed, with an immediate usage of water cannons and other crowd control munitions against protesters, leading to at least 10 arrests.

150 protesters in Chania gathered to oppose the new educational bill proposed by the Greek government, which would bring 1,000 police officers from a new agency onto campus to “end lawlessness and anarchy” in universities.
