SARS Replaced With SWAT in Nigeria Amid Growing Protests

As SARS is disbanded, the SWAT force of Nigeria has taken its role, with heavy criticism from protesters. More demonstrators are turning out now than ever did during the #EndSARS movement, with thousands of people congregating in every city to end police brutality in Nigeria. Pro-SARS protesters have also begun to assail protesters substantially often.

Abuja

Protesters in Abuja turned out in the thousands to stop police brutality in the country, even after many pro-SARS counter-protesters arrived to beat them with mallets.

Berger

Pro-SARS protesters attacked a demonstration of anti-SARS congregants with sticks and poles. They were beaten back, and the crowd began to party soon after.

Alausa

Members of the clergy joined protesters in demonstrating against police brutality.

Lagos

Lekki Toll Gate

Protesters blockaded the Lekki Toll Gate in the thousands, pushing back the police and making their voices heard in the center of Lagos.
