Over 100 protesters gathered for Day 13 of the Block Garcetti protests, before seeing the LAPD move into a cluster in front of the LA mayor’s house. Police were then filmed visibly attacking the protesters, causing more than 20 injuries and arresting several people.
Hundreds of protesters in the Minneapolis suburb of Brooklyn Center took to the streets for a third consecutive day, demanding the prosecution of the officer who murdered 20-year-old Daunte Wright, an unarmed black man. Police launched an exorbitant amount of munitions, firing tear gas and rubber bullets as well as crowd control grenades at the crowd.
