Community members of the Villa El Alba neighborhood of Puente Alto protested against municipal incompetence from a power outage lasting over 32 hours, causing families and warehouses to have their food spoiled and many other supplies lost due to the summer rains that hit Chile.
Dozens of people gathered in Santiago to coordinate a protest for the release of political prisoners of the 18th of October Uprising, when a fascist identifying with the Popular Socialist Vanguard shot rubber bullets at the demonstrators along the Ahumada, injuring several. When the crowd began to attack him, police stepped in to defend the fascist, stopping the crowd from getting to him. The march then proceeded to the Forest Park in the center of the city and was met with extreme violence by the Carabineros who immediately deployed armored vehicles.
Thousands of Chileans mobilized across the capital city of Santiago demanding the freedom of political prisoners and the resignation of President Sebastian Piñera, with several clashes occurring throughout the day and spontaneous demonstrations beginning in many parts of the city.
About 50 New Yorkers protested in the neighborhood of Crown Heights, demanding police defunding, rent cancellation, the abolition of ICE, and more, marching west with a heavy police presence following them. The crowd dispersed peacefully, and no arrests occurred.

Many see Netanyahu as the same authoritarian strongman as Donald Trump in the US, and are frightened by the prospects of him acting as such.
