Hundreds of students in Thessaloniki marched against a new bill proposed by the Greek Education Minister Niki Kerameos, which would remilitarize police campuses with an elite police force. Protesters across Poland, from Krakow to Gdansk, took to the streets against an abortion ban by the PiS (Law and Justice Party). The government has pulled back on the ban for all fetuses except those with Down Syndrome, which has helped calm the clashes but not the protests.
Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Barranquilla, as part of a general strike stretching for a 4th day in opposition to new tax hikes on basic goods and services as well as the privatization of healthcare. Police attacked the peaceful demonstration with water cannons, dispersing the crowd through the city center and injuring several people.
