Dozens of protesters in the town of Livadia took to the streets in numbers of around 40 people in solidarity with the Dimitris Koufontinas hunger strike, demanding the government accept his demands to be returned to the Korydallos prison in Athens.

Demonstrators then marched to Plaza Dignidad, where they were subjected to intense repression by police who used water cannons and tear gas on the crowd that had been peaceful until then.
Hundreds of protesters in Minneapolis gathered at the scene where a police officer murdered 20-year-old Daunte Wright, an unarmed black man, demanding an immediate prosecution of those responsible. Police tear-gassed the crowd once it arrived at the police station, also throwing flashbang grenades and shooting rubber bullets.
