Bikers in Santiago went through the downtown of the city, in honor of Americo Vespucio, a biker murdered by police earlier during the uprising. He died during the reflaring of the October Rebellion, alongside the 44 who had already been murdered.
Around 100+ protesters in Portland gathered for a demonstration against the local ICE facility, setting fires and blocking the main doors to the facility to hamper the ability of law enforcement to be able to respond to the protest. Much of the front area was scorched, and graffiti was tagged all over the site.
Hundreds of protesters gathered in Denver for a rally against a planned far-right event that never materialized. Demonstrators marched to the State Capitol, confronting some people with anti-abortion signs, with some escalations occurring with police, although no arrests did occur.
Dozens of protesters gathered at the roundabout of Caaguazú to demand the resignation of President Marito Abdo, widely held responsible for corruption resulting in the disappearance of $1.6 billion from Paraguay’s healthcare budget, causing a collapse in infrastructure as hospitals were overwhelmed and forced to cut back on resources.
Demonstrators in Santiago gathered at an office of the Independent Democratic Union, a far-right Pinochetist party in Chile, leaving graffiti and anti-fascist banners; the crowd then moved to a monument to Jaime Guzmán, the creator of Pinochet’s constitution, also leaving graffiti. A protest would later also occur in the peripheral neighborhood of La Granja in support of political prisoners of the 18th of October Uprising in 2019.
