Dozens of barricades went up at distinct points across Santiago on the Day of the Youth Combatant, in which 2 anti-government activists and brothers were murdered by the military dictatorship. Demonstrators set fires and blocked roads across the capital city in their honor.

Around 2000 protesters took to the streets of Thessaloniki in opposition to the management of the pandemic, with the military and police overfunded in Greece as ICU beds continue to fill up and the healthcare system becomes quickly overwhelmed due to underfunding.
Hundreds of protesters gathered in Northeast Portland at Peninsula Park in solidarity with Kenosha, following the District Attorney decision not to charge the officer who shot Jacob Blake 7 times in the back as his kids watched. 2 arrests were made for “trespassing” including 1 member of the press, as Portland Police cleared the area to put out a dumpster fire.
Hundreds of protesters in Santiago took to the streets to demand the release of all political prisoners of Chile’s social uprising which began in 2019, as well as the resignation of right-wing President Sebastian Piñera. Police arrived with newly made militarized gear, including a tank never seen before, and furnished armored vehicles, one of which was used to drive into a demonstrator.
Protesters took to the streets for the 4-year anniversary of the murder of Renee Davis, an indigenous black woman. More than 200 protesters attended the demonstration, demanding justice for her and her unborn son.
