Anarchists demonstrated in Athens against a so-called environmental law under the Rodopi Initiative. The newly founded group was created in opposition to the construction of windmills in the northeastern Rhodope Mountain Range in Thrace, which would necessitate the deforestation of the area.

Anarchists in Ankara University took to the streets with an attendance of ~40 people against the 39th university of the Council of Higher Education (Yükseköğretim Kurulu), or YÖK for short. It has been widely criticized for presenting an educational program which presents the Turkish state in an extremely favorable manner.
Protests continue across the country, with several communes rising up against their local police and military forces. Dozens of people were injured, although government forces were beaten back in several areas. A factory was burned down in Renca, and clashes between police and protesters ensued.
