A vigil in honor of a young person who had recently passed away broke out into a riot in Swansea, Wales, in the United Kingdom, after police arrived to break up the gathering. Several cars were torched, and police cars were pelted with rocks, resulting in no arrests at the scene.

Hundreds of protesters across Santiago took to the streets in a day of mobilization in solidarity with prisoners of the uprising in Chile. Demonstrators demanded their immediate release and a general pardon for all convictions made related to the 18th of October Uprising, burning barricades, and clashing with police at various points across the Chilean capital city.
Lebanese protesters gathered at Al-Nour Square in Tripoli in opposition to Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad, demanding his fall and the end of alleged rigged elections in Syria. The road was cut off, and barricades were placed and lit on fire at the scene.
