200 Protesters Attend People’s March for Liberation in New York

Protesters gathered in New York at the Barclays Center for the regularly scheduled People’s March for Liberation, a dual-themed racial and economic justice demonstration. Organizers condemned gentrification in the area, which caused many black families to be forced out due to living costs.

No clashes with police occurred throughout the march, although they were trailed by roughly 2 dozen NYPD officers and several cruisers. A confrontation took place near the end of the march, but the argument remained only verbal.
