Activists gathered at the site of the death of activist Oscar Pérez in Santiago, where on the 21st of December 2019 he was run over by 2 Carabinero cars, leading many to think that his murder was part of an active campaign of state terror against protesters during the October Uprising.
Over 200 protesters marched across Seattle on the 6th of November, demanding the defunding of the Seattle Police Department and the abolition of ICE. The protest included testimonies from many black and Hispanic organizers, and lasted nearly 3 hours. No clashes occurred with police, as there were other demonstrations also occurring in the area.
